Tsunami Relief Fund
We on the Community Board raised money for the Samoan Tsunami Relief Fund by holding a Community Concert and film evening. Many ethnic groups dancers and local performers took part in the Community Concert. Local residents had a great time and I like to thank The Royal New Zealand Airforce who kindly provided us with speakers and sound systems for the performers. The money raised for the Samoan Tsunami Relief Fund was presented in the form of a cheque to the Red Cross.
